A Sweet Small Town Romance

About

She's all spreadsheets. He's all heart. Can opposites find their recipe for love?

Financial consultant Cherida Turnidge has one rule: never trust someone who thinks good intentions pay bills. After her generous father's kindness bankrupted their family, she's built a career on cold, hard numbers.

Then she meets Rory O'Shea--a charming Irish chef who gives away birthday cakes, files invoices in decorative teapots, and runs his restaurant on love alone. Cherida has ten weeks to save his failing business.

When Rory's manipulative ex threatens everything, Cherida announces they're dating. A fake relationship. Strictly professional. Completely temporary.

Except somewhere between profit margins and practice dates, the lines blur. Can she learn that some investments can't be quantified?

A swoon-worthy enemies-to-more, fake dating, small town romance with found family, delicious food, and a guaranteed HEA.

Praise for this book

A delightful story with two very opposite personalities. Rory very strongly reminds Cherida of her father. Not a good comparison. I love that they learn to compromise and their strengths complement each other. The book club ladies are wonderful. The scenes involving the triple booking will really keep you reading.

This is a charming opposites-attract story. Both Cherida and Rory learn some important life lessons from each other.
Some tension in the form of a manipulative ex, their opposing views on life, their upbringing, and some questionable decision-making. The betrayal in this hit hard, and the author did an amazing job of conveying it… It’s not a traditional one, but it’s certainly a hard one to come back from.
Overall, this is a sweet story with some important life lessons for the characters, and the reader.

Another good book by Ella !!!! I love how they fell in love and the th town was there to celebrate with them 🩷 I’d definitely recommend this book !!!
